EEO Complaints and Procedures

All employees are entitled to equal opportunity and a professional work environment free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.

Any employee or applicant who feels he/she has been subjected to discrimination or harassment based on race, color, gender, religion, national origin, age, sexual orientation, marital status, genetic information, disability, veterans status, or any other protected basis under federal, state, or local laws may file a complaint with the BCPS EEO office.

Under federal law and Superintendent’s Rule 0300, retaliation against an individual who has made a complaint or participates in an investigation is strictly prohibited, and anyone found to have engaged in retaliation is subject to disciplinary measures. Below are the EEO complaint forms. Contact the EEO office at 443-809-8937 with any questions regarding the process or forms.
