The Office of Employee Absence and Risk Management implements strategies to protect Baltimore County Public Schools' students, personnel, property, and fiscal resources, through the administration of workers compensation program, the management of liability, casualty, and unemployment insurance and absence management programs.
The office also consults with school administrators and department heads on risk assessments and the identification of strategies to address potential risks that impact or interfere with the mission and goals of Baltimore County Public Schools.
