Summer Program Hiring

 Only current Baltimore County Public Schools employees are eligible to work  for summer programs.

To ensure equitable practices, all Summer Program positions must be filled by current employees working in the same position during the school year.

Please Note: Employees must be able to work for the duration of summer programs, including any required professional development or setup days.

Employees should review The Summer Employment Presentation that provides information about anticipated program offerings, program dates, and requirements to be considered for employment. This information can be accessed here.

Current 10-month employees who do not wish to work at their current school/location must complete and submit the Summer Program Interest FormAccess to the link is here beginning March 15, 2022.

Anticipated Summer Programs Dates:

Tuesday, March 15, 2022 - School-Based Summer Programs Interest Form is available.

Week of April 4, 2022 - Summer Hiring window opens (tenured staff)

Week of May 2, 2022 - Summer Hiring continues (tenured & non-tenured staff)

Friday, July 8, 2022 - Teachers & Staff on duty.

Monday, July 11, 2022 - Summer programs begin.

Friday, August 5, 2022 - Summer programs end.
